Join the 'final' Tree House Session this weekend

The Tree House Bookshop's open mic night returns this weekend, "for what will likely be the final time".
Saturday 14 June will mark the final edition of the Tree House Sessions - a free open mic night that welcomes music, poetry, and spoken word - before it goes on indefinite hiatus.
Always a varied evening, the sessions offer people the chance to perform or watch local art in the cosy surroundings of Kenilworth's second-hand bookshop - as well as being able to bring your own drinks and snacks, and buy books throughout the evening.
Local horror author and musician Dave Musson took over running the sessions in 2024, but is unable to continue putting them on and so has decided to shelve the event for the foreseeable future.
Dave said: "It has been an honour to run the Sessions over the last year and putting them on hiatus is not a decision I've taken lightly.
"However, I can't commit to running them any more and this year's audience and performer numbers have been very low each time.
"But, I wanted to host one final evening as a celebration of the Sessions and as a final chance to raise some money for the bookshop.
"Please come along on 14 June - it's likely to be your last chance for a good while!"
The final Tree House Session runs on Saturday 14 June in the Tree House Bookshop, The Square, Kenilworth.
Doors open at 7.30pm with the evening starting at 8pm.
Performers can sign up on arrival, while audience members are "always welcome and needed".
