Huge lavender farm to reopen to Warwickshire public this June
By James Smith 7th May 2026
An eight-acre lavender farm in Bubbenhall with more than 12,000 hand-planted lavender plants is set to open to the public yet again this June.
Warwickshire Lavender Farm, on Watery Lane, began its life in 2016 as a retirement project for husband and wife Ian and Pippa Jamie.
The couple first started planting at their Weston Under Wetherley home to give somewhere for beekeeper Ian to keep his bees.
But with the ground not entirely suitable, they found the field in Bubbenhall and got to work creating what is now Warwickshire Lavender Farm.
And having allowed locals to visit for the first time in 2022, the couple will once again welcome guests from June 19 2026.

"We look forward to welcoming you!" they said.
"The field will be open this year when the flowers are in bloom, June 19 2026, closing August 9 (but this may alter if the weather is perfect, and the field needs harvesting a little earlier!).
"Wednesdays through to Sundays 10am to 4pm
"The Lavender Café is now open every Saturday 10am to 4pm, it provides delicious hot and cold drinks and cake until it runs out!!"

Ahead of the first opening in 2022, the couple planted three different varieties of lavender on site, as well as 1,000 rosemary plants and around 1,500 trees and hedges.
A 100-year-old barn was also converted into the café.
Pippa also started making and selling a range of lavender oil products including candles, diffusers and soaps.
All the profits from the site will be donated to charity, with just the farm's running costs covered.
