HS2 has announced its latest works along the Kenilworth Greenway.

The popular walking and cycling route has seen its temporary access at the Balsall Common end closed as works to restore the land begin.

HS2 said the access from its site at Station Road / Hallmeadow Road is set to be returned to its owner.

There will be a new access to the Kenilworth Greenway instead.

"As part of this work, we will remove a section of the temporary Kenilworth Greenway between Station Road and Public Right of Way (PRoW) M196," a public notice said.

"Users travelling towards Station Road will be diverted onto footpath M196 as indicated on the map.

"Access to PRoW M196 from Station Road will be via Sunnyside Lane and Barretts Lane."

The diverted route for Kenilworth Greenway has been in place since 2021.
