HS2 has confirmed the A46 will be closed northbound overnight on Friday 25 October.

The dual carriageway will be shut from 8pm to 6am between Thickthorn and Stoneleigh.

"This is to enable the removal and repositioning of the safety barriers back into the verges," the notice said.

"Works will take place overnight for one night.

"The road will be re-opened once the safety barriers are in place and will remain in place until February 2025.

"The A46 Northbound will be closed on Friday 25 October, between 8.00pm and 6.00am for one night.

"Our works will involve a full closure on the northbound carriageway between the Thickthorn Interchange (Leamington) and Stoneleigh Junction.
