Hour-long delays on M42 following crash

Motorists are being warned of hour-long delays on the M42 northbound near Birmingham Airport following a collision this afternoon (February 26).

National Highways traffic officers are at the scene following the incident between junction five (Solihull) and six (NEC).

One lane was originally closed but has now reopened.

"Delays are 60 minutes above normal travel time, please allow extra time for your journey," a National Highways statement said.
