Henley-in-Arden Co-op to reopen following six-week refurbishment

The Co-op in the centre of Henley-in-Arden is due to reopen this Friday (March 7), following a six-week refurbishment.

The 2,400 sq ft store will reopen "with a fresh new-look" including an enhanced range of fresh and healthy produce, and a focus on food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade products, in store bakery and, award winning wines. 

Added services include a Costa Coffee Express and payment services via PayPoint. 

Works also included new, more energy efficient, refrigeration. 

Soft plastic recycling is also available in the store, enabling consumers to return harder to recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches. 

Self-scan tills have also been added.

Ben Wakefield, Co-op’s store manager, said: “The whole team is delighted to relaunch Co-op’s Henley in Arden store. 

"We pride ourselves on being able to deliver the quality, choice, added services and value which can be enjoyed by everyone, and really look forward to welcoming our members and customers back into their Co-op store.

"We’re here to contribute to local life and conveniently serve and support our community.”

Co-op’s Henley-in-Arden store opens between 7am-10pm daily.
