Have your say on plans for 4,000 new homes near Kenilworth
By James Smith 16th Feb 2026
Residents have until the end of March to have their say on thousands of new homes near Kenilworth.
Warwick District Council (WDC) has launched a public consultation on the Kings Hill Masterplan - a major planning document which will ultimately govern how some 4,000 homes are built near Stoneleigh.
The local authority has launched the six-week window for public feedback until 27 March 2026.
WDC said the masterplan and a supplementary planning document will help set a "vision for the wider allocation [of homes] to ensure the comprehensive delivery of infrastructure and cohesive design across the various development parcels".
The council's cabinet signed off on the consultation earlier this month.
The huge new development, which would effectively fill much of the land between Coventry and the village, has been in the pipeline since it was included in the 2017 local plan.
Lioncourt Strategic Land was granted planning permission for 2,500 houses and 4000 square metres of 'mixed use floorspace' on the land.
