Council planners have given the green light for a Kenilworth dentists to expand.

Priory Dental Practice has been granted planning permission to convert the flat above its existing surgery into more space for the dental practice.

Plans show the Priory Road home is currently a two-bedroom flat.

The works will see an extra surgery, an extra consultation room and a bathroom created on the first floor.

Meanwhile the second floor would be used as office space.

Approving the application, a Warwick District Council report said: "It would be considered that the principle of the proposed use on the site is established, and that the expansion of this use within the same property would be an appropriate location for the proposed development.

"The provision of additional community facilities is also considered to align with the thrust of the adopted local plan."
