A new Turkish eatery in Kenilworth has been given the green light to sell alcohol.

Warwick District Council has granted an alcohol licence for Turkish Kitchen on Warwick Road.

Granted on Friday 16 May, the licence allows the eatery to sell alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 11am to 11pm.

The restaurant, which opened this spring, opens between those times seven days a week.

The application says a CCTV system is installed on site and staff will be trained on the challenge 25 policy.

A sign requesting customers leave quietly to respect neighbours will also be in place.
