Teenager leader of Warwickshire County Council Cllr George Finch has been named as one of the 30 "most inspiring" people under the age of 30 in the UK.
The 'Young Power List 2026' was compiled by The Times and published yesterday (April 17), with the Reform UK councillor one of its younger entries.
Other notable mentions include Grammy-winning musician Raye, 28, cricket prodigy Jacob Bethell, 22, and farmer Harriet Cowan, 25, who featured on the last series of Clarkson's Farm.
On Cllr Finch, The Times wrote: "At just 19, Finch made history to become the youngest ever council leader in the UK, taking charge of Warwickshire County Council and its £500 million budget.
"He talks to Charlotte Ivers about canvassing with Nigel Farage, fighting the system and surviving a vote of no confidence."
In the interview, he divulged his willingness to stand to be a member of parliament.
Cllr Finch told The Times: "I'd like to be an MP.
"I think it's a great honour.
"If [at the next election] the party asks me to stand I'll do it. If they ask me to stay back and lead the council, I'll happily do that too."
His interview with the national newspaper came the day after he narrowly survived a vote of no confidence led by the Green Party.
