In response to the further spell of hot weather, further waste collection changes have been announced in the region.

Warwick District Council's waste collection teams will begin their rounds at 5am for the remainder of this week (8 to 10 July), with local people asked to put their waste bins out earlier than usual.

Residents are advised to put their refuse, recycling, garden and food waste bins and containers out the evening before their collection or no later than 5am on the morning of their collection.

The council shared: "With amber weather warnings in place for our area in the coming days, this is to help the Council's crews and vehicles cope in the extreme heat and ensure that they're able to safely complete the scheduled collections."

Barrowfieldgate

Good for the team, great idea. Hopefully though, our useless self-appointed "gatekeeper" who wishes to oversee all of our 18 properties will ensure that the team can access the bins at these revised times. He has failed to ensure the gates are open and we've had our "3 week" bins last emptied 25th May until yesterday. Hope he reads Kenilworth Hub like the rest of us.
