Four people were arrested after a police chase through Hatton which involved a helicopter and a police dog.

A Ford Fiesta, which was on cloned plates, failed to stop for officers of Warwickshire Police's Operational Patrol Unit on the A46, and was then abandoned in Hatton.

Having called in a helicopter and Police Dog Koko, officers managed to track down and arrest four people who had made off across some fields.

A force spokesperson said: "PD Koko also located discarded items in a bin which have been seized.

"The vehicle has been seized and will be returned to its owner in due course.

"Many thanks to the locals and farmers who assisted us in locating the offenders by providing access to the fields."

PD Koko was also called on last week to help catch a man as he made off on foot following a police chase that started near Kenilworth.
