Plans to turn a unit at a Kenilworth industrial building into a veterinary clinic have been revealed.

'Kenilworth Vets' has applied for 'Lawful Development Certificate' which would mean it can use the space at the Bridge Works as a vets.

The application to Warwick District Council says the new business would conduct "diagnosis and treatment of injuries and illnesses in animals".

It also said the clinic on Farmer Ward Road would be set up to "perform surgeries when necessary".

The application states the building dates back to the 1960's and has been used for "light industrial" purposes since.

Most recently the unit in question was home to Bespoke Cabins and Landscapes ltd.

The proposed opening hours are 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.

Unit ten has recently been marketed by local agent Bromwich Hardy which said it had potential for a variety of uses.

Meanwhile one of the other units - a former carpet showroom - was taken over by a new gym in 2023.
