A former antique and collectables shop in the centre of Kenilworth has gone back on the market with property agent Bromwich Hardy.

The 'Top Drawer' unit on Warwick Road is now available for rent at £9,000 per year having been closed since early 2022.

Including a retail area, kitchen, bathroom and storage space the store is described as a "character town centre retail unit".

Before selling collectables, the Warwick Road store was a traditional sweet shop.

First opened by Mark Radburn in 2009, 'Kenilworth Sweet Shop' was a popular stop for people across the town until it closed in 2019 when Mr Radburn decided to retire.

But since reopening as Top Drawer, locals have criticised its ad-hoc opening times.

The property brochure says: "The town centre is home to Waitrose, Boots, WH Smiths, Costa, Holland & Barrett, Peacocks, Robert Dyas, Wilko and an extensive range of independent retailers, bars and restaurants."

It adds that the store includes: "Lock up shop unit - manual security shutters to front door and shop window, laminate floor and suspended ceiling with inset lighting to shop.

"Kitchen with double drainer sink unit plus storage area."
