Firefighters were called to flood at a nursing home in Kenilworth in the early hours of this morning (February 13).

Crews reached the unnamed nursing home at 3.34am where a pipe in the kitchen had burst.

Almost half of the ground floor was affected.

After isolating the leak firefighters pumped out the water and helped mop and clean the home so it could "run as normal".

They returned to station around 6.30am.
