Firefighters called to abandoned car fire near Kenilworth

Firefighters were last night called to a car fire on the edge of Kenilworth.

Crews were called to the incident on Kings Hill Lane just before midnight where an abandoned car was well alight.

"One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire," a Kenilworth Fire Station statement said.

"Warwickshire Police also attended."
