Organisers are "deeply saddened" that this weekend's Blue Light Fun Day at Kenilworth Fire Station has been cancelled.

The event was due to take place on Saturday (August 22) to raise money for the Firefighters Charity.

However, an update from the station said: "Unfortunately this year's Blue Light Fun Day at Kenilworth Fire Station on Saturday 22 August has now been cancelled.

"This is due to urgent underground drainage repair works taking place which, due to the size and scope of the works, will not allow the event to carry on safely.

"We are deeply saddened to have to make this decision as our events always raise excellent funds for amazing charities and local good causes."
