A 'family friendly' beer and music festival is coming to Kenilworth this spring.

Running from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 April KENFEST will be held at the Glasshouse Lane club, organised by Kenilworth Rugby Club and Warwick District Council.

It will feature a range of real ales, lagers and ciders - plus craft gins and sparkling wines - along with street food and a variety of live music over the weekend.

Speaking at the event launch, Kenilworth RFC chairman, Johnny Marsh said: "It feels really good to finally break-cover with this event; it's been on ice for nearly two years, having originally been postponed due to the pandemic.

"Over time, we hope the beer festival will become a mainstay in the town calendar and sit favourably alongside established events such as the fireworks and carnival; like those events, we hope to raise significant funds for local charities."

The first sponsor to sign up in support of KENFEST is the club's lead sponsor Bromwich Hardy.

Founding partner Tom Bromwich said: "I am delighted to be able to continue our partnership with Kenilworth Rugby Club and help bring this exciting event to the people of Kenilworth and surrounding areas."

Anyone interested in sponsoring the event please contact Jai Purewal at [email protected] or call 07968 135 023.

More information will be released in the coming weeks.
