Dogs Trust Kenilworth has been forced to close its local centre to the public temporarily.

The Honiley Road rehoming centre has not revealed when it will reopen, and simply said the closure was due to "unforeseen circumstances".

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Kenilworth Rehoming Centre is currently closed to the general public and we're unable to take donations at this time," a statement said.

Over the summer the local centre has run a series of weekly events encouraging locals to come and meet the dogs and find out more.

Last year, the Dogs Trust Kenilworth found homes for 762 dogs, and is hoping to find homes for even more this year.

Dogs Trust Kenilworth has been approached for more information.
