The team at Dogs Trust Kenilworth is decking the halls in preparation for its annual Christmas Fair on Saturday 6 December, with both humans and dogs encouraged to join in the festive fun.

From 12pm to 4pm, Dogs Trust Kenilworth will open its doors for visitors to enjoy everything from stalls selling gifts for four and two-legged friends, tombola, raffles, games, and a café full of festive foods.

With free entry, guests will also be able to take part in festive activities, such as 'Wheel-of-Pawtune', dog lucky pick, an elf shy, and even have a photo taken with the big man himself, as Santa Paws will be in attendance.

With just a few weeks to go until the Kenilworth-based rehoming centre hosts its much-loved festive event, the team is on the lookout for donations for its tombola and raffle, such as chocolates, gift sets, and new dog toys.  

Visitors do not need a ticket to attend this festive event, which will be a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy seasonal activities and help support the vital work Dogs Trust does to support dogs in need all year round.

Emma-Jane Thomas, Manager at Dogs Trust Kenilworth, said: "Our Christmas Fair is a great way to get into the festive spirit and welcome our wonderful supporters and their four-legged friends to Dogs Trust Kenilworth for a fun-filled day!

"This event is a wonderful way to raise pounds for hounds whilst getting in the Christmas spirit, with all the money raised at our Christmas Fair going to support the work of Dogs Trust.

"It's always very busy and noisy at the Christmas Fair, so while we hope lots of dogs, especially former Dogs Trust Kenilworth residents, come along, we would ask people only to bring their dogs if they are sure they will thoroughly enjoy it.

"Although not every dog will be in a home this Christmas, the dogs in our care will still benefit from the love and commitment of the brilliant rehoming centre staff, who will go above and beyond to make sure every dog has a happy place this Christmas."
