Kenilworth Dogs Trust has announced a series of events this summer, encouraging locals to come down and meet the dogs.

Perfect for those wanting to know more about adopting a pet, the team at the Honiley Road shelter are hosting events every Wednesday for the next few months.

These free events, which will highlight the different types and breeds of dogs available at the rehoming centre, as well as providing information to new or prospective dog owners, come at a time when across the country, Dogs Trust is busier than ever.

Last year, the Dogs Trust Kenilworth found homes for 762 dogs, and is hoping to find homes for even more this year.

"Are you thinking of adopting, but you're unsure where to start?" organisers said⁣.

"Over the next few months, here at Kenilworth Rehoming Centre, we'll be hosting a range of events to help find your paw-fect match.

⁣"Whether you want to know more about how we rehome, help the dogs in our care, want advice on particular breeds or simply want to chat to our team in person.

"Pop along to any one of our open days between 12pm and 7:30pm and we'll be right on hand to help you out! "
