Cyclist left with serious injury after hit and run on country lane

Police are appealing for information after a suspected hit and run which reportedly left a cyclist were a serious hip injury.

Warwickshire Police is asking for information to help locate the driver of a black BMW Series 1 who collided with a cyclist in Valley Road, Earlswood at around 7.58pm on Sunday 2 June.

The cyclist reported being hit by the car as it overtook him while they were heading in the direction of Norton Road.

Officers said the BMW left the scene following the collision having lost a wing mirror.

"Any witnesses or anyone with information that could help officers identify the vehicle or driver can report by clicking on the link in the comments below or calling 101. Please quote incident 289 of 2 June 2024," a force statement said.
