Covid-19 vaccinations hit 160,000 in Warwick district

Latest statistics reveal that over 160,000 Covid-19 vaccinations have now been administered in the Warwick district.

The totals include both first and second doses given since the programme began on December 9. Figures are correct as of 8 June 2021.

A total of 160,367 vaccinations have been administered in the district, with only Stratford-Upon-Avon (164,249) having delivered more.

First doses have been given to 92,191 people in Warwick, as well as a further 68,176 second doses.

The statistics come from the National Immunisation Management Service (NIMS) and include vaccinations administered across all settings:

- Hospital Hubs

- Local vaccination centres

- GP surgeries

North Warwickshire has seen the fewest vaccines administered in the county, with 76,381 doses given.

Across the UK as a whole 58,206,264 vaccinations have been delivered, with 24,207,450 people having received both doses.
