A closed Henley-in-Arden hotel has been put on the market for £1.2 million with local property agent Shepherd Commercial.

Henley Hotel comprises 27 en suite bedrooms - including five suites - reception area, restaurant, lounge bar and kitchen.

Set on 0.6 acres off Tanworth Lane, the property also has a car park with 50 spaces and is said to be in a "beautiful rural setting".

"Each room being an ensuite, The Henley Hotel presents an excellent asset for investors portfolios," a statement on the company's website said.

"With speculative potential for residential conversion or elderly care home configuration, the hotel for sale provides onlookers with plenty of directions to move forward.

"Fifty car parking spaces line the courtyard providing ample parking for hotel guests, events and functions.

"The hotel itself is equipped with a lounge, bar, reception, restaurant and kitchen to serve.

"Situated just back from the River Alne, The Henley Hotel is positioned perfectly between the towns of Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick.

"Less than a mile south is the picturesque village of Henley-in-Arden, a historic Warwickshire town with its town hall dating back to the 1400's."

Shepherd Commercial is also currently marketing the building home to Time For Tea in Kenilworth.
