Compassionate Kenilworth is "proud to announce" the launch of a new community initiative aimed at bringing local people together to support the events that make Kenilworth such a special place to live.

The 'Kenilworth Casual Volunteer Community' is a new, town-wide volunteer registration database that makes it easier than ever to lend a helping hand - without the pressure of long-term commitment.

From the Rotary Two Castles Run and the Lions Grand Show to Carols at the Castle and the Round Table Santa Sleigh, Kenilworth's iconic events "depend on the generosity and spirit of local volunteers".

But with increasing demands and busy lives, many residents find it difficult to commit in advance or for long periods.

That's why Compassionate Kenilworth is making it "simple, social, and commitment-free to get involved".

The Kenilworth Casual Volunteer Community is a list of local residents who are open to hearing about short, one-off volunteering opportunities throughout the year.

Whether it is marshalling, setting up, or just spreading the word, even a few hours of your time could make all the difference.

No ongoing commitment means locals can volunteer as and when it suits them.

It also gives volunteers the chance to meet new people and support the events they love.

"Volunteers are the heartbeat of Kenilworth's community spirit" said Pauline Hayward, Chair of Compassionate Kenilworth.

"With this new database, we're making it easier than ever for people to get involved on their own terms and ensure these special events continue to thrive."

Simply sign up to join the Kenilworth Casual Volunteer Community and receive occasional updates about upcoming opportunities to volunteer.

Your contact information will only be used for this purpose—no spam, no pressure, just community connection. For more information on how to register, click here.

Prefer to volunteer directly with specific organisations? Compassionate Kenilworth will also provide links to our event partners on our website so you can connect with them independently if you wish.

This initiative is brought to the town by Compassionate Kenilworth, in "proud partnership" with local event organisers including Kenilworth Rotary, Kenilworth Runners, Kenilworth Lions, Round Table, Kenilworth Soroptimists and The Kenilworth Centre.
