After sharing CCTV footage in relation to an alleged sexual assault that took place on Christmas Day, Warwickshire Police has identified the man and "would like to thank all those who shared the appeal".

An 18-year-old was reportedly attacked in Leamington Spa town centre in the early hours of December 25.

Between 1am and 3.30am, it is believed that passers-by may have assisted a teenage white female in a white coat.

"As investigations continue, we're still asking anyone who has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage of the Parade, Clarendon Avenue, Beauchamp Road, Beauchamp Avenue, or Kenilworth Road between midnight and 4am on 25 December to get in touch," the force said.
