A care home worker was one of four people stopped by police in Kenilworth last night (February 4) for breaking Covid regulations.

Officers from Kenilworth and Warwick Rural Police Team spotted a car driving through the town with four 'young adults' inside, none of whom lived together.

It transpired that one of these four worked in a local care home; all received fines for the breach of regulations.

A police statement said: "Car stopped this evening. Four young adults inside, do not live together, not in a bubble, not from Kenilworth and no masks, to top it off one works in a care home.

"All issued fixed penalty notices for a clear and flagrant breach."
