Building home to three Kenilworth restaurants on the market for £1.725m
A commercial building that is home to three Kenilworth restaurants and nine apartments has been put up for sale for £1.725million.
The property at The Square, which includes the modern King's Arms and Castle Hotel, is currently being marketed by property agents Bromwich Hardy.
Zizzi's, Pomeroys Bistro and Ego currently lease the three ground floor restaurants and will not be affected by the sale of the building.
Having been demolished and rebuilt during the 1980's the ground floor of the hotel was converted into restaurants in 2007.
The advert says a buyer would be acquiring: "A substantial town centre Grade II Listed building converted to accommodate multiple restaurant and apartment units.
"Three ground floor individual restaurant units: Zizzi, Ego & Pomeroys Bistro.
"Nine first and second floor apartments, each with their own allocated parking space."
Station Road, running down the side of the building, remains partially closed to vehicles.
Bromwich Hardy said the Grade II listed property currently offers an annual gross rent of £128,100.
The advert added: "The property occupies a prominent position on the principal retail thoroughfare at the junction of The Square and Station Road.
"The property is located in close proximity to the new Waitrose and the Talisman Square Shopping Centre which is currently undergoing redevelopment.
"The property also benefits from substantial public car parking nearby.
"Nearby occupiers include Waitrose, Lloyds TSB, Boots the Chemist, Superdrug, Iceland, Wilko and Halifax."
