By James Smith 19th Oct 2026
Two Kenilworth shops were targeted by thieves in the early hours of Sunday (18 October) morning.
Police are appealing for information after break-ins at Tesco Express on Leyes Lane and James Moore Jewellers on Warwick Road.
Warwickshire Police attended both sites soon after the incidents were reported but those involved had already left the scene.
The break-ins happened between 4.25am and 5am.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything unusual," a force statement said.
"We are also asking residents and motorists to check any doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist our enquiries.
"If you have information, please report it via our website or by calling 101, quoting incidents 58 and 64 of 18 October 2026.
"Thank you for your support. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could help our investigation."
James Moore has already shared footage of the break-in on social media. The shop has said it is open only by appointment.
Tesco has been contacted for more information.
