The annual cyclo-cross race is set to return to Kenilworth Common this Boxing Day (December 26).

The traditional festive event returned last year having been cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Organised by the Coventry Road Club, this year's will be the 68th instalment of the race.

The event will see Common Lane closed during the day for the oldest cyclo-cross race in the UK.

They will start at the centre of the lower common, before heading out onto the roads and up Common Lane.

They will then be challenged to navigate the tricky descents through the woods and through the mud.

And with the Boxing Day duck race in Abbey Fields cancelled for this year, why not head down to the common for Monday's sporting action.

The event will start at 11am for under 10's, followed by under 12's at 11.15am.
