Police have appealed directly to parents after a group of around 50 teenagers was spotted drinking in the town last week.

Kenilworth and Warwick Rural Police took to social media to warn parents after a number of 13 and 14 year olds were caught with alcohol.

The appeal said: Do you know where your child is?

"The local team and police officers have been called to various locations around Kenilworth including Castle Farm and Abbey Fields.

"In these locations we have found children in possession of alcohol.

"If you don't know where your child is or you know your child is in these locations please could you make contact and engage them to come safely home."
