All the Kenilworth roads closing for the Tour of Britain Women this weekend

Some of the world's best cyclists are heading to Kenilworth this weekend as the final stage of the Tour of Britain Women returns to South Warwickshire.

The stage will start and finish in Leamington Spa on Sunday (23 August), heading through Kenilworth and south through the county, taking in Sun Rising Hill and Burton Dassett Country Park.

Riders will set off from Newbold Terrace at 11am, reaching Kenilworth at around 11.25am.

The 123.8km-long stage is expected to be finished by 2.50pm.

Warwickshire County Council has confirmed rolling road closures will be in place ahead of the riders.

In Kenilworth, the route will take them Warwick Road via Leek Wootton, Castle Road, High Street, New Street, Coventry Road, Common Lane, Knowle Hill and Crewe Lane towards Stoneleigh.

Parking will also be restricted at Smalley Place by Jubilee House in Kenilworth from 0.01am on Sunday morning, as well as on Birmingham Road and Coventry Road in Stoneleigh.

In Leamington Spa, there will be several road closures throughout the day on Sunday.

  • Newbold Terrace (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Euston place (6pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Newbold Street (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Holly Walk (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Parade (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
  • Hamilton Terrace (11.59pm Saturday - 7pm Sunday)
