Yardbirds, the all-American Fried Chicken favourite that started as a street food trader is "thrilled" to announce the opening of its second restaurant in Leamington Spa.

The Warwick Street eatery will open for the first time on Saturday 1 February.

Known for their perfectly seasoned, crispy fried chicken and family friendly atmosphere, Yardbirds began its journey on Birmingham's Street food scene, serving up fried chicken at events, festivals and private parties across the country.

The success of its first restaurant in Stirchley, Birmingham – opened in November 2022 – has paved the way for this expansion in Leamington Spa.

The Yardbirds menu features crowd-pleasers like fried chicken burgers, crispy chicken strips and indulgent sides.

Guests can also look forward to offers at the restaurant like Buy One Burger, Get One Free Wednesdays, and the popular 'Kids Film Club' – a weekend treat where children enjoy a movie whilst parents relax over a meal, with kids eating for just £1 (when ordered alongside an adult main, 12pm-5pm).

"We're very excited to bring Yardbirds to the heart of Leamington Spa" said Jenny Deeley, owner of Yardbirds.

"We've been working very hard to get the space in Leamington exactly how we want it.

"Our aim has always been to deliver quality food in a vibrant and welcoming environment, and we can't wait to introduce our new restaurant to the people of Leamington!"
