A46 overnight closures begin

Overnight closures to an A46 slip road have begun this week.
The southbound slip road at the Stoneleigh junction will be shut from 8pm to 6am each evening from 29 January to 12 February
The closures have been confirmed by HS2.
A public notice said this is to allow for "improvements to the verge" ahead of planting in spring, along with some additional drainage work.
A diversion will be in place.
HS2 is also holding a "contingency date" in case of "adverse weather conditions" delay the works on the A46..
