A46 lane closure confirmed for June by HS2

HS2 has confirmed more disruption to the A46 next month.
The southbound carriageway will see a lane closure on Saturday 6 June near the Stoneleigh junction.
The closure will be in place from 12am to 11pm.
HS2 said it is needed for "minor earthworks on the verge of A46 bridge".
"All our work is subject to final consent from National Highways," a statement added.
Warwickshire County Council has also recently announced closures around the Stoneleigh junction.
The closures are scheduled to take place on the following dates:
- 30 May and 31 May 2026
- 26 June and 29 June 2026
- 3 July and 6 July 2026
- 25 July and 26 July 2026
