Ghosts and ghouls to greet customers at Kenilworth opticians
A halloween spook-tacular will be taking place at a Kenilworth opticians during half term to raise money for Action for Children.
From Saturday 26 October, Specsavers at 17 The Square will be adorned with all things Halloween-themed and the team will be dressing up as their favourite Halloween characters.
Spooky sweets will also be handed out and youngsters invited to take part in a colouring competition, in return for a donation.
The winner, who will receive a book token worth £20, will be announced on Thursday 31 October.
"We've been raising money for Action for Children for a while now and thought Halloween was a great reason to boost the total further," says Ambreena Ahsan, store director at Specsavers Kenilworth.
"With it being half term too, hopefully it's an opportunity for local children to get involved, have some fun and raise money to help protect and support young people and children at the same time.
"Half term is also a good opportunity to think about getting your children's eyes tested.
"After being back at school for a few weeks, if they are having any issues, an eye test will pick this up. If glasses are needed, the earlier this is identified the better the chance we have of being able to help and correct the problem."
Action for Children is a not-for-profit organisation who protect and support children and young people by providing emotional and practical support.
