Popular local acoustic and electric guitar duo RockinWarren are inviting the Kenilworth community to join them for a special milestone event as they celebrate three years of live music on Friday, 13 November 2026, at The Ale Rooms.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to come along for an evening of live rock and acoustic classics.

For Garry Warren and Rockin' Rich, returning to The Ale Rooms brings their journey full circle.

Three years ago, the duo's unique story began in an unexpected location: a bathroom showroom in Kenilworth.

While rehearsing in the showroom with the doors open to the street, passers-by frequently stopped to listen, say hello, and enjoy the music.

It was during one of these open-door practice sessions that "The Dude," a team member from The Ale Rooms, dropped in to hear what was happening. Impressed by their sound, he booked them on the spot for their very first venue gig - and RockinWarren was born.

RockinWarren brings a fresh, live energy to every performance without relying on any backing tracks or pre-recorded music.

With Garry Warren on acoustic guitar and Rockin' Rich on electric, the duo delivers a dynamic, full-band feel across a wide array of rock and pop anthems.

Their vast setlist includes tailored rock covers of hits by:

  • The Beatles & The Rolling Stones
  • Oasis, The Killers & Sam Fender
  • Queen, Elton John & Pink Floyd
  • Tina Turner, James Bay, and the classic Hotel California by The Eagles

Over the past three years, RockinWarren has become a beloved fixture in the local music scene, performing at popular spots such as The Virgins & Castle, The Station House, Butcher's Bistro, The Green Man, Kenilworth Sports & Social Club, Wyandotte Inn.

The Engine and Lil Green. They have also taken the stage at popular local festivals including KenFest, Kenilworth Lions Grand Show and the Kenilworth Fringe Festival.

Beyond playing venues, Garry and Rich are deeply committed to giving back to the town.

They regularly lend their time and talent to local charities—including Myton Hospice, Molly Olly's Wish, and the Kenilworth Lions—and manage the sound system and PA support for the annual Kenilworth Carnival.

"We want to say a huge thank you to everyone in Kenilworth who has supported us over the last three years," says Garry.

"From stopping by the showroom to hear us practice to coming out to our pub gigs, the local support has been incredible. We can't wait to celebrate back at The Ale Rooms where it all kicked off!"
