Rumours Hair & Beauty recently hosted an exclusive community event that brought makeup enthusiasts together for a pampering experience.

The event featured the talented makeup artist, James McKnight, in collaboration with Delilah Cosmetics, and it was held at UK Beauty Club HQ in Kenilworth.

This gathering was not just about makeup; it was a dedicated community experience where attendees had the opportunity to chat about makeup, share tips and tricks and connect with fellow beauty enthusiasts.

As guests enjoyed some tasty nibbles and a glass of bubbly, James showcased the "gorgeous" range of Delilah cosmetics, demonstrating how these products can enhance natural beauty.

Delilah, known for its light and soft makeup style that enhances your glow, proved to be the perfect choice for those with busy lives who prioritize vegan and eco-conscious products powered by plant-based ingredients.

James shared some top makeup application tips with the group during the event:

• For Concealer Application: James advised applying concealer sparingly around the inner and outer eye areas and adding a soft line down the centre of the face for optimal light reflection
• Blush Technique: When applying blush, he recommended using your blusher in a "C" shape from the high point of the cheeks to the temple, avoiding the apple of the cheekbones to maintain a lifted appearance.
• Mascara Selection: He offered insights on selecting the right mascara for your lashes, suggesting a long, thin mascara brush for short lashes and a large, thicker brush for longer lashes seeking volume.
