By James Smith 6th Sep 2026
Hundreds of runners took to the streets of Kenilworth today (September 6) as the Kenilworth Half Marathon returned for 2026.
In its 26th instalment, the race once again featured a 5K route as well as the full 21.1km race.
The 5K runners started the day at 9am, setting out from Warwick Road and were followed just minutes later by the rest of the participants.
The half marathon route saw them take a loop of the castle before heading along Rouncil Lane to Beasaule and back.
Residents lined the streets to clap and cheer the runners.
Mayor of Kenilworth Cllr Alison Insley sounded the klaxon to start both races.
Organised by Kenilworth Runners, the half marathon has raised over £140,000 for charities over the years.
