Burton Green is set to showcase its "vibrant creative spirit" through the 'Made in Burton Green' community art event, a lively celebration of local artists, makers, and craftspeople.

Part of the wider Warwickshire Open Studios programme, the event transforming the village into an interactive creative space.

Highlights include:

• A community art exhibition hosted at the village hall
• A craft fair over the weekend of 27/28 June 11am – 4pm featuring stalls from local makers – check out the coffee and cake!
• A scenic walking trail (open until 5 July) up Red Lane and down the Greenway with outdoor artworks and installations - spot the Dragon decorated by children at Burton Green C of E Academy, Unicorns, Monster Tree, 180 fabric wrapped swallows and nearly 500 crocheted tulips!
• A family-friendly scarecrow competition on Kenilworth Greenway adding a playful community touch

Organisers said: "If you're looking to discover unique handmade pieces, meet local artists, or simply enjoy a creative day out in a village setting, Made in Burton Green promises an inspiring and enjoyable experience."
