Labour on course for narrow victory in Kenilworth as Reform slip out of race - readers' poll

Labour has extended its narrow lead in Kenilworth and Southam as the election race enters its final few days, according to the results of a Nub News poll.
But the results of an independent survey of Nub News newsletter subscribers shows next Thursday's (July 4) election will be a close three-way tussle between Labour, the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives.
Results published this morning (June 28) found 25 per cent of readers would vote for Labour's Cat Price, if the election was held today.
That is a slight jump up from the 24 per cent who backed the Labour candidate in our previous poll two weeks ago.
While Labour's lead may have extended marginally, Reform appear to have dropped off significantly in the past fortnight with Jacqui Harris now predicted to take around 15 per cent of the vote - a drop from the 19 per cent she polled on June 14.
Sir Jeremy Wright remains second favourite to win a sixth straight election, but support for him has remained constant at 23 per cent across the two polls.
That remains a far cry from the 58 per cent he received in the 2019 general election.
Meanwhile Jenny Wilkinson of the Liberal Democrats took 22 per cent in this week's vote - a rise from the 21 per cent of June 14.
Results in both polls also indicated Official Monster Raving Loony Party candidate Nick Blunderbuss Green could snap up four per cent - which would be a significant uptake from five years ago where he received less than one per cent of the vote share.
If he were to receive that many, it would be significantly more than the 1,500 votes he is aiming to receive.
Results in full:
- Cat Price (Labour Party) - 25.4%
- Sir Jeremy Wright (Conservative Party) - 23.26%
- Jenny Wilkinson (Liberal Democrats) - 21.66%
- Jacqui Harris (Reform UK) - 14.71%
- Alix Dearing (Green Party) - 10.96%
- Nick Blunderbuss Green (Official Monster Raving Loony Party) - 3.74%
- Paul De'Ath - (UKIP) - 0.27%
Kenilworth Nub News polled 374 newsletter subscribers between 12.30pm on Wednesday (June 26) and 11.59pm on Thursday. Readers were only able to register a single vote for one of the seven candidates. Results were not weighted demographically.
