A Kenilworth distillery is set to release its own range of vodka this summer, just months after expanding its gin range.

East Chase Distillers first opened for business in November 2022, bringing it Heritage Gin to the market.

Since then the business - which is run by friends Luke Weetman and Richie Bartle - has brought in one London Dry and three flavoured gins, all available online, in local pubs and from the East Chase Farm distillery.

And now the duo have put their world-leading holstein still to further use, bring out a set of three new vodkas which will be available in the coming weeks.

Alongside a Premium Standard house vodka blend, East Chase Distillers has developed a Wild Berries and an Orange and Passionfruit flavour - all of which are distilled four times.

"From a taste point of view, the standard vodka I actually distil it with banana peel and vanilla pods, which sounds a bit unusual but it comes out really smooth," Luke explained to Nub News.

"All of them start like that, then the flavoured ones are redistilled with natural flavourings.

"They have all been really fun to work on."

As well as making the most of the brand's recognisable packaging, the three vodkas also follow ECD's commitment to only using natural ingredients.

Initially the vodkas will only be available to drink at the distillery and for locals to buy, have delivered or to collect.

They are already being stocked at The Cross - Kenilworth's Michelin Star restaurant.

And for Luke and Richie, this latest announcement is yet another exciting step forward for the business.

"It is so nice when you go into a pub and see your product behind the bar, it is a great sense of achievement," Luke said.

"The extra things you add, and the small steps you take give you big satisfaction.

"And it gives you more drive to want to take it forward, to try new things and to get our products into more places."

There are also four blends in ECD's gin range (image supplied)
