After all the excitement and general bustle of the festive season, January can feel like the longest month of the year.

Older people especially can find this time difficult and for some, Christmas has already been a sad or lonely time.

Over two million people over 75 live alone and we are now more aware of the problems loneliness and isolation can bring.

It's so important to stay connected with community activities and that is where Waverley can help.

Waverley has been providing food and friendship to older citizens in Kenilworth for over 40 years.

There are so many benefits to getting out and about and feeling part of what is going on.

Waverley members come together to enjoy a two-course lunch and a variety of activities surrounded by staff and volunteers.

For many of the members a visit to Waverley has become part of their weekly routine, something to look forward to and new friendships made.

Why not consider giving a visit to Waverly a try or maybe you have elderly relative or neighbour who might enjoy the experience.

Transport is available within the local area spaces permitting.

We look forward to seeing you.
