4. Public meeting on future of Kenilworth lido

The meeting, which will take place on Saturday 13 November at Abbey Hill United Reformed Church, will see panelists discuss the way forward for safe outdoor swimming in the district.

The meeting is titled 'COP OUT' as both a nod to COP26 currently underway in Glasgow and concerns within the lido group that the council's plans for Abbey Fields do not meet its carbon net zero targets.

Guest speakers at the meeting include local sustainable development champion George Martin, who will consider if the proposals for Abbey Fields align with WDC's ambitions to become a carbon neutral organisation by 2025.
