Kenilworth 12 to 15-year-olds will now be able to get their first Covid-19 vaccinations at Northgate House in Warwick.

The Warwickshire County Council building is now being used by the NHS to help the role out of the vaccine.

The vaccination clinic is open on Saturday and Sundays from 10am to 3.55pm for both pre-booked and walk-in appointments.

The director of public health for Warwickshire, Dr Shade Agboola welcomed the news.

"It's great news that Warwickshire County Council can lend Northgate House to aid in the local and national effort to combat Covid-19 and protect people in Warwickshire," she said.

"We are doing our utmost to work in collaboration with the NHS to give people the opportunity to receive a vaccine. If you can, please take up the offer of a vaccine and support young people with receiving theirs."

The news about Highgate House comes just a week after a new Covid-19 vaccination clinic opened at Warwick Hospital.

The new clinic was opened to help with the booster programme in Warwickshire.
