Danny Fagan of DF Sports Coaching, Kenilworth is raising money to ensure that local under privileged children do not go without this Christmas.

Danny is well known in Kenilworth for his charitable exploits. However, this year he is having to refocus his efforts due to Covid-19 and is now raising money to make bundles of presents for local under privileged children.

He is asking the people of Kenilworth to donate via his Go Fund Me page and already exceeded his £500 goal, with £529 pledged in just two days.

Money raised will then be used to put together present bundles, with gifts being purchased from local businesses.

Danny said "Im a big believer in it's not what is under the tree but who is around the tree, but after this year I also think that the kids deserve to feel the excitement of opening presents and parents also deserve those memories of the emotions on their children's faces as they open their presents.

"So DF Sports will be using the money raised from your donation to put together a bundle of presents suitable for each child out there. It will include board games, DF Sports clothing, footballs, games, electronics, books, arts and crafts, cuddly toys, lego and dolls."

Danny will also be accepting gift donations.

If you know of a child in need, or a family that could benefit from a present parcel then please email [email protected] with just the child's name, age, hobbies, and address.
