'Numerous police units' respond to armed robbery at Moseley Road Post Office in Kenilworth

Police officers were called to an armed robbery at Moseley Road Post Office this morning (February 12).

Officers arrived at the scene at around 9.00am this morning to deal with the incident.

Nobody was hurt after a man threatened staff with a knife.

A male offender made off on foot into the nearby Birches Lane area.

A spokesperson from Kenilworth and Warwick Rural Police has said: "We did have a robbery this morning at the Post Office on Moseley Road at approx 9.00am.

"Numerous police units attended and thankfully no one was hurt and enquires are ongoing."

Witnesses reported seeing a police helicopter as well as a number of units.
