Summary We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in the Midlands. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our construction projects by ensuring timely and safe transportation of materials. Your contributions will be vital to our mission of delivering high-quality developments. Responsibilities Operate trucks to transport materials and equipment to various job sites Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness Collaborate with site managers to coordinate delivery schedules Assist in loading and unloading materials and plant as needed Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times Qualifications Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence Valid commercial driving license (CPC) Digital Tachograph Card Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the construction industry Strong mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance Familiarity with excavator operations is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work flexible hours as required Monday-Friday 6.30 - 4.30 Job Type: Full-timePay: £16.00-£17.00 per hourExpected hours: 45 per weekBenefits: Canteen Free parking On-site parkingWork Location: In person
