All lanes have reopened on the M40 following an earlier vehicle fire.

Emergency services were called to the incident on the northbound carriageway between junction 16 (Nuthurst) and the M42 earlier this afternoon (March 30).

Two fire engines were called to the scene, where two lanes had been closed.

National Highways was warning of 30-minute delays, but has now said all lanes are open once again.
