We are excited to announce a very special evening of Independent films with an opportunity to meet the Writer/Directors.
On Wednesday 2nd Oct at the Kenilworth Centre we will be showing not one but two Independent Films followed by a Q&A with writer/directors Andrew David Barker and Kate Horlor.
A pop-up bar will be available and it promises to be a thoughtprovoking and inspiring evening.

Kate Horlor
Kate's journey began in the film industry as a runner, but her path twisted into the realm of factual and entertainment TV as an assistant producer. Now in development, she focuses on shows set in the Midlands, scouting for new hits in the region where she is proud to be from and still live, and works as an Assistant Producer on two of the regions best Cosy Crime Shows. Laura Living backwards is Kate's first Short Narrative Film.
Andrew David Barker
Andrew David Barker is a screenwriter, novelist, and film director. He was born in Derby in 1975 and is the author of the novels The Electric, Dead Leaves, and Society Place. As a filmmaker he has directed several award-winning shorts and is currently in pre-production on a feature film entitled The House on Lidderman Street, a twisted ghost story to be shot in Kenilworth. He is also the co-writer of the upcoming horror feature The Wilding and has recently been hired to write a series of low-budget World War 2 action films.
